Primer on Guardians

Guardians are other wallets that help protect your wallet by approving high value transaction and recovery your wallet. In other words, by adding guardians, you are enabling multi-sig on SEF wallet. Read for more information.

Adding a guardian.

  1. Go to settings -> Guardians

  2. Paste in or scan the wallet address (it can be ETH format or ONE format)

  3. Click Submit

  4. Approve the Transaction.

DO NOT ADD MORE THAN 2 GUARDIANS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. More guardians means more complexity. Keep in mind that in the worst case scenario you have enough keys to restore your wallet by backing up each wallet.
